Our Fleet Expands Further

2021 saw further expansions to our fleet of trucks and trailers. Starting with our most recent addition, our new Mercedes tractor unit. Having the latest models with better fuel consumption and less harmful emissions, we are able to enter areas that have restrictions on heavy diesel vehicles.

We also took delivery of our 26 tonner earlier in the year, giving us the flexibility of more general haulage capabilities and with its tail lift too, can be used to get goods to businesses without forklift trucks.

And finally, alongside our new 26 tonner and tractor unit, in 2021 we took on 2 additional curtain sided trailers. These both accompany the curtain sided trailer purchased in 2020 which also has a tail lift for flexibility.

Palletised freight network, Palletways, has awarded 29 of its members the network’s highest accolade.

The elite group have been awarded with Platinum Club status for delivering the highest levels of performance, commitment to customer service and compliance in the Palletways UK network over the last year.

Palletways consists of 400 depots across Europe of which over 100 are in the UK. Palletways handles more than 23,000 pallets daily across the UK. One in every four pallets handled by palletised freight networks in the UK is distributed by Palletways.

April 2017 saw the arrival of our new vehicles and trailer to go alongside our existing fleet of vehicles. Delivery was taken on April 1st and handed over to us by Natalie and Rob from Allports Group. These new additions consist of a double deck trunk trailer and 2 18 tonne, curtain sided, tail lift, delivery and collection vehicles. This is all part of our expansion into the Palletways, pallet distribution network, which runs alongside our existing storage and distribution service.

All have been furnished with our new livery, (designed by Lee White Design). This has been a very exciting start to 2017. We are looking forward to the future in this, our 25th year in business.

2017 marks our 25th anniversary of trading for PET. From our humble beginnings of a back bedroom and 4 year old Fiat Forino van, ten years later getting our first warehouse of 22,000 square feet and then expanding six years ago to our current home of 50,000 square feet. We are now embarking on another expansion to the PET service which is probably our biggest, more to come.

We were asked to store two large signs, that had been constructed, until they were needed for installation. Here we are successfully squeezing the first through one of our loading bay doors.

This is the second of the two signs being manouvered into the loading bay, before being positioned into its final storage area using the forklift trucks.
